PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO’s):
- PEO1:Engineering Knowledge: Acquire knowledge in the discipline of mechanical engineering, apply fundamentals of mathematics, engineering and sciences and apply technologies to solve complex problems in inter and cross disciplinary areas.
- PEO2:Problem Analysis: Acquire an ability to identify, formulate and solve Mechanical engineering problems.
- PEO3:Design/ Development of Solutions: Design mechanical systems, components, or processes to meet their performance needs from considerations of public health and safety as well as cultural, societal, and environmental issues.
- PEO4:Conduct Investigations:Ability to understand and solve complex mechanical engineering problems using research-based knowledge and research methods including analysis, interpretation of data and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.
- PEO5:Modern Tool Usage:Identify, formulate and solve mechanical engineering problems using modern design and manufacturing approaches and computational and software tools.
