About department:

Mechanical Engineering is often called the Mother of all Engineering. The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2009 at the time of inception of Department with an initial intake of 60 students and an additional section of 60 is added in 2013. The Department is also offering Post Graduate Programme, M.Tech in Thermal Engineering with an intake of 24 in the year 2012. The Department has 15 eminent faculty supported by 06 Technical Staff.

The Department has well Equipped Laboratories confirming to the norms of JNTUH with facilities viz., a CNC lathe, Solar flat plate collector, Concentric tube collector etc, and software like AUTOCAD, HIGH END CONFIGURATION SYSTEMS, ANSYS, FLUENT etc.
