The college lays more concentration on weekly

The college lays stress on assignments, practical training, personality development including soft skills, special coaching for GATE, GRE and also conducting respective mock tests, the students feed back, sports & games and co-curricular activities to explore potential and ensure self discipline in student community with the interaction through counseling and various committees.

Interaction with students and their involvement in college activities, suggestion boxes, student mentors.

Every student is assigned a mentor [a faculty member]. Students can directly discuss their problems in academics and others. Mentors meet the students once in a Week to discuss the progress. Special classes are conducted for students who are weak and who do not perform well in the internal examinations/class tests.

Parents will be informed about the performance of their ward from time to time in the month/Quarterly/semester/year. However the parents are requested to be in touch with the Student Mentor/Head of the Department on regular basis.

Students are advised to go through the Academic Regulations of JNTU syllabus book (applicable for the respective batches) on regular basis to understand the Examination Regulations.

1. Attendance

Students have to put up a stipulated minimum attendance of 75% (as per JNTU) in aggregate to be eligible to write the external examinations conducted by JNTU.

2. Internal Examination

Internal Examination consists of objective type tests (Set wise) for theory subjects for 20 Marks 20 Minutes and followed by Subjective test for 90 Minutes for 20 Marks and for the practical subject, 25 internal Marks will be awarded, of which 15 marks shall be awarded for day-to-day work and 10 marks will be awarded internal tests for BTech & B.Pharm courses

For MBA Courses the internal test will be conducted for 40 Marks 2 Hours.

3. University Examination

For BTech & B.Pharm, each theory examination will be descriptive and conducted at the end of semester/year. Each question paper will have 8 questions out of which the student has to answer 5 questions. Each question carries 16 marks. Practical end exam will be conducted for 50 marks with External Evaluation.

For MCA & MBA each theory examination will be descriptive and conducted at the end of semester. Each question paper will have 8 questions out of which the student has to answer 5 questions. Each question carries 12 marks. Practical end exam will be conducted for 60 marks with External Evaluation.

4. Award of class

Class Minimum Requirements
Distinction 70% and above
First Class Below 70% but not less than 60%
Second Class Below 60% but not less than 50%
